HP Laptop 15-db0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I cannot access my network hard drive.  I can access it from a two different computers which are running Windows 8 but I have two Windows 10 laptops that cannot see or access the network hard drive.  I can see and access the Windows 8 desktop and the Windows8 Laptop from my Windows 10 laptops but not the hard drive.

Are they (HDD and your new laptop) on the SAME network ?  If Yes, please try

(a) Open File Explorer,

(b) Click Networks,

(c) Click the name of your network HDD,

(d) Enter Name, Password and assign a drive letter.

You can assign a diffetent drive letter for each computer but please keep it the same for all computer. After that you should be able to see new drive (in my case I've got 2 NAS's at home) under This PC as shown
