I cant get a bluetooth connection. The icon doesn't appear in the action center, and it hasn't appeared for a long time, but I only just started trying to fix the issue.
In the Device Manager, no Bluetooth device appears. In Network adapters, there used to be one which was called Realtek 8811CU Wireless LAN 802.11ac USC NIC. While trying to fix the issue, I read in another thread that I should uninstall all bluetooth software. So I uninstalled the previously mentioned driver, Realtek 8811CU Wireless LAN 802.11ac USC NIC, so no it does not longer appear under Network Adapter. Have looked online to find the driver to install it again but have not been succesful.
I use a wifi dongle to connect to a 5G wifi signal. I just realized that when I uninstalled the above driver, it now no longer connects to the 5g signal.
My laptop is an HP Pavilion 15, running Windows 10 Home.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
