Chrome OS bad password

I purchased a refurbed laptop from Amazon. I am not able to login to my WiFI as I keep getting bad password message when I try to login. Pretty challenging as I cannot get beyond the setup screen so no way to download a fix etc. Can you pls assist?

 Enrico - I am confused, my request is not for a lost password or recovering a password. This is a refurbished HP Chromebook purchased from Amazon, which has been wiped clean. Important clarification - I am trying to log into my home Wi-Fi and getting the bad password error message in the Wi-Fi login screen. Can you pls assist me with this?

A bad password error message is security related.
