have a chromebook that, unlike the exact other one I have, keeps disconnecting from my wifi. The other one of the same type works perfectly fine. Everything is up to date, wireless card has been reseated, chromeOS reloaded, everything. I tried contacting support through the website but got...
This product is no longer serviced by HP. You may search for possible solutions on this support website.
Despite this being a relatively new chromebook. No idea how HP can sell a product and then not allow serivice on it through their website, also while its under warranty.
I have tried submitting a ticket through the https://mycrm.support.hp.com/en-US/ website but was told "I understand you need support for your HP Chromebook - 11a-nb0013dx. As this request has reached Commercial Notebook and desktop Support, we request you to please contact consumer Phone support (Apparently I am not allowed to post the support number the HP support agent gave me) .we regret any inconvenience caused. Please contact consumer support for assistance."
I tried calling and was on hold on 2 different occasions for around an hour. Is there any other way to get this fixed? I know what needs to be fixed. It need to have its wireless card replaced. We have had a number of 11a's at work that have had this exact same issue and that was the resolution. Are there any other options than to call and then maybe go run a marathon while I wait for someone to talk to?

Disclaimer:
I know nothing of Chrome OS and little about even Chromebook hardware.
I can point you to HP Support for Consumer devices (privately owned computers, printers, devices).
What happened?
It is true that commercial support won't help with other than devices under a commercial contract.
It is true that commercial support cannot help with a consumer type device.
The consumer link to support (for privately owned devices) is included below.
Reminder
Case submission is primarily directed at those whose devices are still in Warranty.
For the rest of us, this is not an option.
HP Support does not generally provide free service for out-of-warranty devices.
Our Community is not HP Support; we do offer help free of charge:
