Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi, 

 

I am trying to connect my elitebook Laptop to my Sony Tv Wirelessly to use it as a monitor for work. I understand this is possible under windows 10 but i cannot see how to do this via wondows 7. Is there a device anyone can reccommend to plug into to my laptop or tv?

Hi:

 

There are many generations of Elitebooks. 

 

I have an Elitebook 6930p, and that model does not meet the hardware requirements for wireless display.

 

Here are the Intel wireless display hardware requirements.   Unless your notebook meets all 3 of the requirements (processor, graphics, and wifi adapter), it cannot connect to a wireless display.

If it does meet all 3 hardware requirements, then you need to install the Intel widi software for W7.
