I followed the instruction to install HP Connection Manager in Win 10, but this error has stopped me for a while.
Can someone show me what I have to do in this situation?
Thank you so much!

Based on not having the correct Driver for Windows 10, I would purchase a little Bluetooth tongle and be done with it.
OK, picking one of the models at random for the purpose of moving forward....
The Specifications for the HP EliteBook Folio 9470m shows the wireless is Combo
Wireless |

Software and Drivers - HP EliteBook Folio 9470m Notebook PC do not list the wireless network driver.
Bringing in reinforcements...
Any words of wisdom? Driver for Windows 10?
System is likely one of the two mentioned in my first post (no verification yet from member on exact product name / number).
Thanks!

Thank you for your answer,
I really need to use Bluetooth on my laptop, but also I can't bring it back to Win 7 to enable Connnetion Manager.
So is there any way to use Bluetooth? Because I can't find the Bluetooth driver in Device Manager.

Hi:
The HP connection manager software is not supported in W10.
There is one other way to turn on the bluetooth when it was turned off via the HP connection manager software during the upgrade to W10, and that is to make a bootable Ubuntu installer. You don't need to install Ubuntu on the hard drive, just run it from the installer to turn on the bluetooth (try ubuntu without installing).

Excellent option.
I will add this one to my notes!
Thanks! I appreciate the advice.

You're very welcome.
Yes, I learned that from a one time poster who advised me that using the Ubuntu installer was another way for turning on the bluetooth.
Previous to that, the only way I knew of was to have to reinstall W7, install the connection manager (or wireless assistant, as applicable), use the connection manager/HPWA software to turn on the bluetooth, uninstall the software, restart the PC, ensure the BT was still turned on, and then upgrade back to W10.

I actually have your notes on this from an older post (reinstalling Windows 7 method).
I didn't suggest it this time because, well - it is painful and most people won't do it.
I have added the "update" to the old notes.. much better solution.
Regards!
