Does my EliteBook support WWAN, i do have a SIM slot, but before i go and buy a data SIM, i need to know if my model supports it

Hi:

 

You can install one of the supported WWAN cards for your notebook as long as it already has the WWAN antenna cables included where the WWAN card goes.

 

Look at chapter 3 of the service manual for the supported WWAN cards and their HP part numbers.

 

I would try and find one on eBay by searching by the HP part number, not the model of the WWAN card.

You can look at chapter 5 of the above manual for the WWAN card R & R procedure.

 

Verify that the antenna cables are present first before purchasing one of the supported WWAN cards.
