Hp Envy 17T k200 cto
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was given an old HP laptop from 2015, the HP Envy 17T k200 cto. Originally installed with Windows 8.1, I upgraded it to Windows 10.

There is an unknown device listed in the device manager under other devices

USB\VID_8087&PID_07DC&REV_0001

Googling that brought up this page, where someone said it was the Wireless Intel Bluetooth driver which makes perfect sense as the laptop is missing bluetooth right now

Solved: Unknown devices in Device Manager (need driver) - HP Support Community - 6514645

The person listed this as the driver

Download Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® for Windows® 10

But trying to install the driver from that page, the install fails saying it cannot be setup on the system. I also went to the official HP page and tried all the bluetooth drivers listed there:

HP ENVY Notebook - 17t-k200 CTO (ENERGY STAR) Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support

None of them work. Everything else on the laptop seems to be working fine after I fixed the fingerprint scanner. Can someone link me to the correct driver for bluetooth?

Here's the original

Nevermind. Continued googling produced this driver which works. Apparently the newer version windows 10 automatically installed doesn't recognize the bluetooth device.
