Hey people,
We just got our laser cutting computer fixed but the wireless card isnt working for some reason. The operating system was changed to Windows 7, so I think it might be a driver issue but Im having trouble finding the correct driver for our card.
In the device properties, the Hardware ID is: 'pci\ven_14e4&dev_4329&cc_0280'
So if anybody could point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi:
That ID decodes to a Netgear Rangemax WN311B100 wireless PCI adapter, for which the most recent driver is for Vista.
I suppose you can try it from the manufacturer's website at the link below...

Hey, thanks for the reply.
I downloaded that driver and installed it. However it says that the card is not installed, which makes me think that isn't the right card/driver. I'll open up the pc and see if I can find any ID marks. (Computer is inside the Laser Cutter which makes it irritating to get to without disconnecting everything and hauling it out)

You're very welcome.
Try the file I zipped up and attached below.
Manually install it as follows...
Go to the device manager, click on the Network Controller needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and browse to the unzipped driver folder.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.

Hrmmm...
I followed your instructions and the driver seemed to install correctly, however it is still saying there are no connections available.
I ran the trouble shooter and it said "A network cable is not propperly plugged in or may be broken"
and "problem with wirless adaptor or access point"..
Ive checked the connections and everything seems to be plugged in just fine, so im not sure whats wrong.
Day is ending here at work so I'll return to the problem tomorrow morning and see if I can find whats actually wrong. Ill check back here and post here if I make any progress.
Thanks a lot for all your help so far! 😄

You're very welcome.
That is odd since it is a wireless card.
The problem is that device is no longer supported by Linksys.
I was able to find the driver from another site. but the whole file is too big to post.
So, what I have done is to upload the full driver install package to my Skydrive folder, and shared the link below.
You want the zip file labeled WMP300N_20071019

If that driver doesn't work either, I suggest you purchase an updated PCI wifi adapter that works with W7.

You're very welcome.
One more try...I found this driver on the Microsoft Update Catalog website.
Do the manual install and see if it works (browse to the driver folder).
If that doesn't work, I surrender, and as long as you wanted an external USB wifi adapter, that one should work fine.
