Im having the same problem. i downgraded from windows 10 to windows 7 on an hp pavillion laptop and now i have no way to connect to the internet. the HARDWARE ids on my network controller are from top to bottom PCI/VEN_10EC&DEV_8179&SUBSYS_197D103C&REV_01
