ENVY4520 does not print when adressed wirelessly via router (Thomson 2904FD).
ENVY says "Wireless connection is OK". Waiting list at the PC(WIN 10) says "Error - being printed" .
Have tried Microsofts problem solver: "Problem cannot be identified" - all other issues are reported "OK".
HPs Print & Scan doctor 5.1 says "communication error" but no solution.
Scanning documents from ENVY via router to PC works fine !!
Printing via direct radio from PC to ENVY also works, but then the router is not available.
Printing and scanning via USB cable from/to old VISTA-driven PC also works fine.
The problem seems to have come up since I have installed and used "HP Scan and Capture". Scanning via wireless router had not worked before I did this, but printing had worked.

Thank you for posting on HP Forums, MKazi is at your service.
I understand that you have an HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One Printer. I read that the printer is unable to print. But can scan properly via the wireless network. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.
As of now, the evidence points towards a drivers issue. I recommend you to uninstall the printer drivers from the root level and then reinstall them. The following steps will help:
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- You may download and install the drivers from this link.
I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Let me know how it goes.
All the best! 🙂

Thanks for your help, Mkazi ! Yes, it was the old driver which seems to have been damaged during a restodage process of the PC.
Installing new printer driver from the HP-site has solved the problem. Thumbs up!
