Hi @printerm,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code 0xc19a0003 on an HP OfficeJet Pro 8625 indicates a problem with the printhead. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Restart your printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, and then plug it back in. Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.
  • Clean the printhead: Open the printer cover and remove the ink cartridges. Locate the printhead assembly and remove it. Moisten a clean, lint-free cloth with distilled water and gently wipe the contacts on the printhead. Allow the printhead to air dry for a few minutes. Reinstall the printhead and ink cartridges, then check if the error is resolved.
  • Reset the printer: From the printer's control panel, go to the Setup menu. Navigate to "Tools" and then select "Restore Factory Defaults" or "Reset All Settings." Follow the prompts to reset the printer to its default settings. After the reset, try printing a test page to see if the error persists.
  • Update the printer firmware: Visit the HP support website and search for the OfficeJet Pro 8625 printer model. Look for the latest firmware update available for your printer. Download and install the firmware update following the provided instructions. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve software-related issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
