Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi 

 

My ethernet connection just stopped working for some reason and was working fine a few days ago, and I've tried some resets etc but it still says it's an unidentified network and has no network access.

Driver from HP site is 8 years old. Please try newer driver, should work for Windows 8.1:

 

           https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18813/realtek-gigabit-ethernet-network-driver-for-w...
