When connected to internet the F12 key is usually a white coloring and if I press this key it turns orange and aeroplane mode is activated but at the moment the key is staying orange and not enabling me to connect to WiFi, I have tried the control panel and it is saying that the broadband connection is disconnected and I have tried several time to start the connection but it does not work

Greetings @Hkdippa

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are unable to connect to your wireless network as your broadband connection is disconnected, is that right?

Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.

May I know the exact product number of your computer? Click here. Please do not share the serial number of your computer.

Is the wireless adapter listed in device manager?

Recommend you open device manager by doing a right-click on the Windows button.

Expand network adapters.

Check if the wireless adapter is listed.

If it is listed, right-click on it and check if it is enabled.

If not enable it.

Close device manager.

Open network and sharing center by doing right-click on the network icon the taskbar.

On the network and sharing center screen, select the option on the left - change adapter settings.

This would display the network adapters on the computer.

Right-click on the wireless adapter and check if it is enabled and try to connect to your network.

If the issue persists, install the wireless adapter driver from the HP Recovery Manager, click here for assistance.

Let me know if this helped.
