Dear HP Support,
I am writing to raise a serious and ongoing concern regarding the Realtek 8852CE Wi-Fi 6E PCIe NIC driver on my HP laptop. I've been experiencing **frequent Blue Screen of Death (BSOD)** crashes over the past 7–8 months due to this driver. The issue began while my system was still under warranty, and unfortunately, it persists even now.
Each time **Windows automatically updates the driver**, my system becomes unstable and crashes with BSOD errors. **Rolling back the driver** temporarily resolves the issue, but the problem returns after every update cycle.
This issue has not only affected system performance but has also led to **critical data loss**, which is highly concerning. I rely on this device for important work, and such unexpected crashes make it extremely difficult to work reliably.
I trusted HP to deliver a stable and high-quality product, but repeated issues stemming from a **faulty network driver** are not what I expected. At this point, I am requesting the following:
- Investigation into the Realtek driver and a permanent resolution (stable driver or alternative card suggestion)
- Guidance on how to prevent automatic driver updates specific to this adapter
- Consideration for driver or hardware replacement options
Please treat this as an urgent support case. I would appreciate a prompt resolution so I can use the laptop as expected without fear of system failure.
Thank you.

If you need to prevent a driver from Windows Update from installing you can run the Microsoft Hide Windows Updates utility that I zipped up and attached below.
Unzip and run the utility.
It will show any Windows updates pending to be installed.
Check the box to hide the update you don't want to install.
The utility will run again and report that the problem is 'Fixed.'
Close out of the utility.
If you want the update to appear again, run the utility and uncheck the box to hide the update.
