Microsoft Windows 11

Product: HP Laptop PC 15s‑fq2000 (2D118AV)

I have recently been experiencing recurring issues with the Wi‑Fi connection on my device. During live meetings, the network frequently drops for approximately 4–5 seconds, and on some occasions the Wi‑Fi disconnects completely. When this occurs, the Wi‑Fi icon disappears from the taskbar and reappears after about 5–6 seconds.

I have already verified with my Internet Service Provider, and they have confirmed that there are no issues on their side.

Adapter: Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter
Driver Date: 07‑Dec‑2023
Driver Version: 2024.10.228.9

I attempted to update the driver manually through Device Manager, but it indicates that the latest version is already installed. Despite this, the problem persists.

Could you please advise on the possible cause of this issue and suggest steps to resolve it?

The only suggestion I can offer would be to update the RTL8822CE Wi-Fi driver to the latest version HP currently has available:

Realtek RTL8xxx Series Wireless LAN Drivers

Version 2024.10.230.600     11-Jun-2025

sp162860.exe
