This is how I got bluetooth working on a Windows 10, HP Pavilion G6 2216EA, using a "Ralink RT3290 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi adapter".
This adapter is part number: 690020-001 in the manual, and is described as: "Ralink RT3290LE 802.11 b/g/n 1x1 WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter" therein.
I managed to find and download "SP71572", which is the exe file to setup Bluetooth on the adapter.
Mediatek is the parent company for Ralink, and the drivers are compatible.
I extracted the files by running the above application, leaving all settings as default.
I did not allow the extracted files to install. Rather, I followed the instructions in the following link, to install it in compatability mode (Windows 8.1), https://windows10skill.com/install-driver-in-compatible-mode-windows-10/
After rebooting, the bluetooth symbol appeared in the bottom right of the screen, I was then able to pair
with various phones, and transfer jpg's.
I hope this helps others!!
