Will I be able to connect my laptop to the router via HDMI Ethernet channel?
This laptop has HDMI Rev 1.4b(supports HDMI Ethernet), but it doesn't necessarily mean it will work.

I tested on a different machine, hopeless.  I've been using the following adapter and get 2 more USB ports. Many around with 4, 5, 6, 7 ... ports
