I have HP 15D 103tx laptop. It has Qualcomm Atheros QCA 9565 Wifi + Bluetooth card. I have been facing wifi singnal drop problem in this laptop. I have done a good levelof troubleshooting at my level. I have checked my wifi roter; updated wifi router's firmware; udpated wifi card's drivers. But nothing has stopped this problem.

The wfi signal would drop to a minimum randomly and the it will recieve full signal strength after 20-30 seconds.

Please suggest a solutiuon.

Thank you,

Hi:

Open up your notebook and check to make sure that both antenna cables are securely attached to the wifi card.

If they are, you may want to consider replacing the wifi card with this model...

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0   HP Part # 710661-001.

The card is readily available on Amazon or eBay.

Do your search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

Here is the link to the service manual.  The wifi card R & R procedure can be found in chapter 4.
