HP Chromebook 14-ak050nr
Chrome OS

Hello,

several years ago I gave a relative who lives in Bulgaria as a present my HP Chromebook 14-ak050nr after using it for years in Canada. My relative have used it without a problem until recently when the Chromebook can no longer access the Internet. The WiFi connections status shows it's connected to her WiFi but when accessing any web pages a message comes saying There is no Internet connection. In the same home there are another three wireless devices, a HP laptop that has no problem connecting to the same WiFi and Internet as well as a brand new Motorola G60 phone but there is another older Motorola G6 phone belonging to a Canadian guest in her home that has the same problem as the Chromebook with the status for WiFi Connected but no Internet. Since my relative and the people around her don't know much about fixing such problems I was trying to help over the phone with instructions and I asked her to restart the modem and router then disconnect and connect the Chrombook from  her WiFi and restart but that didn't help even after repeated these steps multiple times. There was no user changes in the modem and router since they were installed long before she started using the Chromebook which was used regularly, except in the last year when it was rarely used and not at all in the last several months.

I will greatly appreciate any suggestions and input how to deal with this
