Hello

I would like to upgrade my HP elite SFF 600 G9 Desktop PC with a wifi card (my came with none). Specs say that the desktop ships with the following wifi cards:

Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 802.11ax (2x2) and Bluetooth 5.2 Combo (Intel vPro, supporting gigabit data rate)

Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 802.11ax (2x2) and Bluetooth 5.2 Combo (non-vPro, supporting gigabit data rate)

Realtek 8852BE Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax (2x2) and Bluetooth 5.2 Combo

My question is: is this list of wifi cards exclusive or am I allowed to put in another m.2 2230 card? (e.g. intel ax200). Will it work? (ax200 seems to be good from the form-factor perspective, but I was reading sth about CNVio / CNVio2 support (haven't understood it, but I am now a bit worried that it might not be compatible))

Thank you for your time, looking forward to any replies,

Yurii

Hi, Yurii:

If you want to install an Intel AX200, that would be fine.

I would check inside the case to make sure the Wi-Fi antennas are there because if they aren't you will need to order a M.2 desktop Wi-Fi kit that comes with external antennas.

Something like this:  This is the kit that comes with an AX210 Wi-Fi 6E which would also work in your PC:

Amazon.com: AX210NGW DTK WiFi Card WiFi 6E Supports 6GHz, 2230, 2x2 AX+BT 5.3+Tri-Band, Includes RF ...
