Product: HP EliteBook 840 G6 Notebook PC
My HP EliteBook 840 G6's Wi-Fi option has suddenly disappeared from the network list. I've tried troubleshooting the issue with driver updates and reinstallations, but the problem persists.
Troubleshooting Steps I did:
- Updated Device Driver: I attempted to update the network driver through Device Manager's "Update driver software" option.
- Installed Specific Driver: I downloaded and installed the latest Intel WLAN Driver version 22.250.1.2 Rev.A from the HP website.
- Performed a network reset: I Reset the network through network connections
- Reinstalled Driver: I uninstalled the network driver from Device Manager and then restarted the device.
- Network Troubleshooter: I ran it but it found no problems to fix.
- Disabled the VPN Connection: I disabled the VMware network adapters
All of these didn't work and the result of reinstalling the driver is in the error screenshot which I have attached for your reference.
I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue and get my Wi-Fi functionality back.
Thank you for your support!
