Microsoft Windows 11

the WIFI network adapter disables at random.

the only solution is to disassemble the body and disconnect the wifi card. then it starts again.

This ONLY seems to be happening on our HP Elitebook 845 G8 models, is this a known issue?

Any support or new perspectives are appreciated.

Hi @autorino

I did a search in the HP Community forum, the  Google search engine and ChatGPT.  I did not see wifi isues with the HP HP Elitebook 845 G8 as having become a trending issue.

Which specific wifi adapter is installed in your notebook?

Please include brand and specific model information.

If it is an Intel adapter, you would be better served by using the Intel Pro wifi driver that Intel provides on its product and driver support website.

Your laptop has a MediaTek MT7921  M.2 ,  2x2 802.11ax (WiFi 6) + BT/BLE Combo Card .

I researched that online and see that  many laptop owners with that card installed do have issues.

I must admit that when I saw which brand adapter you have, I suspected it as the issue.

You can replace that with an Intel wifi adapter and have better results.
