Hello and Good Day!

Wi-Fi issues on the HP Envy 6555e are not that usual and sometimes its caused by certain router settings or firmware, printer firmware and could also be with Static Electricity.

These are the steps you can do to resolve the Issue.

1: Restart your printer, router and computer.

We start by shutting down all devices. Start the router first and once all lights are stable we start with the computer and then the Printer.

2: Unplug all cables from the printer. Press and hold the power button down for at least 40 seconds and then the turn on the printer.

3: On the printer touchscreen → Setup → Printer Maintenance → Update the Printer. You can also update it from HP Smart → Printer Settings → Advanced Settings → Tools → Printer Updates.

4: If these does not resolve the issue then we need to perform a factory reset.

Additionally note that old gen printers work on 2.4Ghz and does not support 5GHz so if you have upgraded the printer please connect the printer to the 2.4Ghz WiFi Signal and not the 5Ghz.
