I have an HP Envy Touchsmart m7 Sleekbook & have been trying to find info if I could swap the Centrino Wireless-n 2230 adapter the laptop came with with an Intel AX200 to use WiFi 6. Any ideas if that adapter or something else would work? Thanks.

Hi:
You can replace the Intel 2230 with this card...
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0 HP Part # 710661-001
You should be able to find plenty of them for sale on eBay.
Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.
The Intel AX200 card uses a different form factor (M.2), so that card won't fit in your notebook's wifi card slot.
Also the wifi terminals are about 1/3 the size of the ones on the Intel 2230 or 7260, so the antenna cables your notebook has won't connect to it.
Once upon a time, there was an Intel AX200 HMC form factor card for sale on Amazon.
I have no idea who made it or how, but I can tell you it wasn't Intel.

So, the Intel 7260 AC card is the best one you can upgrade to.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.

Hi:
What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?
Use this guide to find that information...please do not post the serial number.
