Evening All,
I have been trying to share my screen with my LG TV, something I seemed to have no problem with in in the past.
I am not sure whether it is following a Windows update or not, however, currently my laptop can't discover any wireless displays.
I know the function works on the TV as it is easily enabled when using my phone.
So far, I have reviewed all my settings. checked the driver updates, ran dxdiag to check miracast is available however nothing I do seems to resolve the problem.
All other connectivity is fine such as bluetooth and connecting to WiFi.
Any ideas/advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Try the following suggestions.
-
Confirm that your computer is connected to the wireless network.
-
Restart your computer. Then restart the wireless display and adapter. If using an adapter, remove the adapter from the TV or monitor, restart your device, reinsert the wireless display adapter in the TV or monitor, and attempt to display again.
-
If you are using a wireless display adapter, set the video source to the correct HDMI port (the one that the wireless adapter is connected to). To do this, check the video source settings on your HDTV, monitor, or projects. For instructions, check the information that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's website.
-
If the adapter didn’t connect, open the Action Center, click All Settings, click Devices, and then click Connected Devices. Click Add a device, and then select the wireless display or wireless display adapter.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thanks for your reply.
1. The laptop is connected to the wireless network
2. I restarted the laptop, disabled the Intel HD Graphics 4600 Display Adapter on the laptop and then enabled it. This did not work.
3. I am not using a wireless display adapter as it is built into the TV. I am also able to share my mobile phone screen so happy it is working.
4. From the Action Centre, I was able to find the LG WebOS TV UN81006LB Display. I tried adding it however it only allows me to share audio through to the TV. It does not allow me to share the laptop screen.
The above being the case, the issue is not yet resolved.
What further advice do you have?
Regards
