Elitebook 840 G3 / G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Elitebook 840 G3 / G4 freshly imaged.

All drivers, BIOS, & firmware updated via HP Softpaq Download Manager.

WiFi no longer sees all SSIDs.

Turning WiFi off/on doesn't help.

Unijnstalling/reinstalling WiFi driver doesn't help.

Enabling/disabling LAN/WAN autoswitching via BIOS doesn't help.

Resetting BIOS to factory defaults doesn't help.

Uninstalling HP Hotkey Support restores WiFi to normal.

HP Notifications remains installed.

Any way to fix this without replacing the motherboard?

Thank you.

Hi

What effect does this have...

HP Wireless Button Driver

2.1.10.1 Rev.A1.0 MBMay 28, 2019Download

which controls F12 I believe.

If SSID's are absent then perhaps the location is only getting 2.4 gHz or 5.0 gHz.

Zero.

I think I should bow out.

File name:    sp95977.exe               should have fixed those problems, according to my research.

Obviously it hasn't and to avoid making any-more fatuous posts I will pass.
