I want to pair my laptop with either my Android phone or an external Bluetooth speaker. I am able to pair my Android phone with the speaker but cannot pair the laptop with either the phone or speaker.
Here is what I did:
(0.1) Ensure that ohone & speaker are in pairing mode and are not paired with any other devices.
(0.2) Ensure that all Bluetooth device drivers are up to date
(1) Turned Bluetooth off & on several times in Settings.
(2) Clicked on "Add Bluetooth or other device".
(3) In the "Add a Device" window I clicked on "Bluetooth".
(4) In the next window I can see that the laptop is searching for a Bluetooth device but finds nothing; neither the speaker or the phone. And on the phone the Bluetooth screen does not show the laptop.
Please educate me as to what I am doing wrong.
Thank you.

Hi @GoshenPrint,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your laptop that is not booting into Windows. Not to worry I will help you to resolve the issue.
Follow the below steps to fix the issue.
A) Perform a power drain on your PC.
1) Unplug the power cord from the PC & wall.
2) Disconnect the power cable from the AC adapter if it is a detachable part and keep it aside.
3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the AC adapter, then connect it to the wall and to the charging port on your PC.
5) Power on the PC and check if it boots into Windows now.
B) Install all the pending updates for the Windows operating system following the below steps.
go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and select Check for updates. If the upgrade is available for your device and you want to proceed, download and install it.
C) Update the BIOS for your PC by click on the link.
Make sure you keep only the charger plugged in while updating the BIOS for your PC.
Click on the + sign next to BIOS and then download the file.
Open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
D) Click on the link to connect the bluetooth speakers again.
I hope this helps.
