HP Laser Jet M234 sdw printer driver for windows server 2022

I can't find the right driver for HP Laser Jet M234sdw printer. OS is windows server 2022. The one that in HP website is not working.

I understand that you are unable to install the correct driver for your HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw Printer on Windows Server 2022.

Please try the following:

1. Open the HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw Printer Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support page.
2. Under Operating System, select Windows.
3. Under Version, select Windows Server 2022, if it is listed.
4. Download and install the available driver package.
5. Restart the server, and then add the printer again.

The HP download page requires the operating system and version to be selected before it displays the applicable drivers. If Windows Server 2022 is not listed, HP does not provide a model-specific driver for that operating system through this download page.

If the available driver still does not install, please share the driver name and the exact installation error message so we can check the issue further.

The driver that is available on HP support website is for 32bit machines. I didn't see any drivers for 64bit machines. When I try to add the printer, I get "not compatible ........" message.

HP does not offer a dedicated Windows Server 2022 64-bit driver package for the LaserJet MFP M234sdw. The “not compatible” message usually appears because the installer checks the operating system and doesn't recognise Windows Server 2022 as a supported client OS, not because the computer is 32-bit or 64-bit.
 

You can check whether Windows Server can install an inbox driver:

1. Open Settings or Control Panel.
2. Go to Printers & scanners.
3. Select Add device or Add a printer.
4. If the printer is not found, select The printer that I want isn’t listed.
5. Add the printer using its TCP/IP address or hostname.
6. When prompted for a driver, select Windows Update and check for an available HP LaserJet MFP M232-M237 or Microsoft IPP Class Driver entry.

Please note that an inbox or Microsoft class driver might provide basic printing only. Scanning and other HP application features might not be available on Windows Server 2022.
 

Do not force-install the 32-bit package or bypass the compatibility warning. If Windows Update does not provide a compatible driver, the HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw does not have a supported full-feature driver for Windows Server 2022. In that situation, install the printer on a supported Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer, or use a supported network-printing configuration.
