HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg1000 (43F53AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I purchased HP Pavilion Laptop 15eg1000 recently from Costco.  It uses the MediaTek MT7921 controller with the latest driver 3.0.1.1167.. The laptop comes with W11 Home installed.

Wifi works fine for a few days and then suddenly the Wifi controller no longer finds any networks "No networks found". Restarts or hard reboots do not help.

The only way I have found to temporarily fix this issue is to go into WIndows Settings -> Networks->Advanced settings->Network Reset. This will delete all network devices and reinstall with Windows default settings. The laptop will then work again for a few days. This is not a long-term solution.

This workaround is time consuming/cumbersome. Is there an updated driver that fixes this problem on W11?

Hi:

On your notebook's support page there is a newer driver...whether or not it will fix the problem, that I do not know.

The fix just indicates...- Provides the updated driver.

That is an updated Windows 10 driver. Will that work on W11? I currently have the most recent W11 driver but it is older than the most recent W10 driver.

There are very few drivers exclusively for W11 out there yet.

If you click on the blue View All link next to the operating system version, you will see that HP has indicated this driver is also good for Windows 11.
