@Barachiel
I just finished downloading the HP Support Assistant and using it to download different driver updates and the BIOS update. As it turns out, the reason my attempts had previously failed to install a newer BIOS version was due to the latest, Insyder F.35, apparently dropping support for my device while version Insyder F.34 supports it. So, BIOS Insyder F.34 has installed successfully alongside various driver updates (the drivers didn't appear to have anything to do with my network, though).
I'll update some time tomorrow or the day after with my findings.

After testing it out, it seems that the problem is definitely still there. It does seem as if it may be occuring slightly less frequently, but I can't say for certain.
Any other potential solutions to the problem?

Thanks for writing back to us.
Did you uninstall and reinstall the wireless drivers?
-
Search Windows for devices, then click Devices and Printers or Device Manager in the list of results.
-
Search the list for your Network adapters or expand the Network adapters option.
-
Right-click the icon on the wireless option and click Remove Device or Uninstall device, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the driver removal.
-
If multiple icons exist for the wireless, remove them all.
Download and install the wireless network driver for the notebook.
- Go to 123.hp.com.
- Enter your notebook model number, and then click Begin.
- Click Download, and then click Open, Save, or Run in any windows that display to download the driver to your computer.
- Double-click the driver file in the browser downloads bar or in the Downloads folder on the computer to launch the driver installation.
Run UEFI test on the wireless card.
Refer the steps mentioned under "Running component test" in this HP document to run the test:- Click here
Let me know how it goes.
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others and please give the same post a Kudos.
Cheers.

After testing it a bit more, it seems that the problem has actually largely gone away, though it does still pop up a bit. Still, it seems to be far better than it was before, for which I am very grateful.
Given the fact that there is still some remnant of the problem, I'll try to follow move of your above suggestions, then get back to you after testing it out.
Huge thanks to both you and @Barachiel!
