I am glad that it has helped you. It helped me aswell but i noticed its happening again just not as often. Have you ran into issues since you uninstalled McAfee?

I have one brand new HP laptop and one I bought 2 years ago.  Both of them kept getting disconnected from wifi.  Sometimes it would work after I reset my router/modem combo but having to do so was driving me nuts.  Eventually it stopped working at all.  All of my other devices connected fine and there were no problems. So I bought a brand new router and hooked it up to my old router/modem combo.  So then I had two wireless networks and connected my HP laptops to the new network and now everything works perfect.  Hopefully that makes sense.  In a nut shell, it was my router that was causing the problem.  I never would have guessed that because my other devices worked fine with it.

Are you able to use your cellphone as a wifi hotspot?  When I was able to connect my hp laptop to my cell phone's wifi, I started looking for problems outside the laptop.  Or if you go to a place with free wifi, like Dunkin Donuts, does it work there?  If you can connect to wifi at another place, then you will know that it's something at your house.

I have recently bought a brand new HP Pavilion x360 and have been same situation AliMac16. I tried updating through HP support assistant, and that might be a solution of the problem.

Wi-Fi network adapter : Realtek RT8822BE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter

Driver : 2024.0.5.101

(Updater RT88** was in HP support assistant)

Updating driver through device manager could also work -- see this guide, might help: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-properly-update-device-drivers-windows-10

I am having the same issue, but I have done some troubleshooting and determined that my laptop is fine with some connections and kicks me off my home wifi. So I did some more digging, because I am convinced that the computer is good, but it has something to do with my router. I have found some people that are saying they are having success with changing around their wireless router band settings. Apparently some people are finding that they get kicked off in the "N" band but they are fine in the "G" band.... it might be worth playing around a bit in your router settings and seeing if you can find a band that doesnt kick you off.

Hey, thanks mate. This worked for me.

I have uninstalled the Mcafee free trial which came along with my machine and re started my PC.
So now my wifi is stable, Stayed connected for downloading large files for long time. So, This works.

I have bought & installed Kaspersky immediately. This works well with my Machine now!

Other than this issue which I corrected now, The Machine just Awesome!

Thanks to the Community.

How did you do this exactly?

I uninstalled McAfee by going to settings, apps, finding the McAfee app and uninstalling. Another thing is check for updates on the HP Support Assist App as they recently released a few updates one that should fix the wifi issue. Remember to also check for updates for windows as well.
