I have confirmed with noting the button upon a restart that the button CAN light up in amber, but when on the desktop, when the start menu settings: Network & Internet - Airplane mode= the button can clearly show that functionality wise that it does & can be physically seen on the screen to switch between the following toggles: “Turn this on to stop all wireless communications, such as Wi-Fi, cellular, and Bluetooth” & “Wi-Fi” but the button will not, when in Airplane mode, the button color to light up amber, but will not.

I’ve tried to reinstall: HP Wireless Button Driver - sp141277 & it still has not worked, & not sure what to do next.

I’m running, for OS: Windows 10 Pro. - 64 bit / 22H2 / OS Build:  19045.6466

My laptop is: HP ProBook 450 G3

Laptop Model: W0R57UT#ABA

Can anyone find a fix for this ?

Chris Canfield

(Due to the severity of that I cannot fix this issue, and how stubborn, & DEEP within the OS, a fix this is, I have removed my wireless network card (Intel Duel Band Wireless-AC 8260), and may not end up running it until I can get a fix for this problem and should I need to use Wi-Fi, I may have to go USB adapter in the meantime !)
