Hello,
I'm having some trouble in connecting my audio to my Bluetooth headset (AirPods).
I manage to pair them via Bluetooth Settings, and they seem to also get connected, but the audio does not work. Also, in Sound settings I only have Speakers (High Definition Audio Device) for Output, and Microphone (High Definition Audio Device) for Input, but I never saw the headset there. I can see the headset name (Airpods) in Bluetooth/Device Manager so I guess the driver was installed for them and I can also see them in Control Pannel/Hardware and Sound/Devices.
I have tried updating any driver that was not updated by Windows with Driver Booster, but it didn't help.
I also have tried following the solution in Solved: HP ProBook 4540s Bluetooth problem in Windows 10 (64-bit) - HP Support Community - 7819414, thinking that it's the same problem, but I have no Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth adapter. Instead I have Mediatek Bluetooth Adapter (not sure completely why, as when I go to HP for drivers it offers me the Qualcomm Atheros one). Also uninstalling didn't work, for some reason after a restart I still see the Mediatek adapter.
What can I do? The product number of my laptop is H5J76EA.
Thank you,
Radu

Hi:
Windows 10 installs the Bluetooth driver automatically.
There was one W10 wifi and Bluetooth driver released for the Ralink wifi adapter, so if your Bluetooth isn't working properly, I doubt there is anything you can do.
This is the W10 Ralink/Mediatek bluetooth driver...

Another thing you can try but I cannot 100% guarantee it will work, would be to gamble a few Leu on replacing the Ralink wifi card with this model...
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0 HP Part # 710661-001
You should be able to find this model wifi card on eBay. Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.
