Thanks for the super quick response Paul!

 

I think I've managed to get it working properly by removing the WIDCOMM bluetooth software. I now wonder if I actually needed a new card at all.  However, I'm not going to bother trying to reinstall the original card, as I have a working configuration, which is what I wanted all along.

You're very welcome. 

 

The Intel  card is a considerably better card than the Realtek one, and it's Wifi 6.
