Wireless will not work despite many attempts to resolve the issue. The following steps were taken:
Update Operating system (on the very latest patch)
Updated all drivers through hp support assistant ( ALL drivers are up to date)
Disable the driver, reboot, then re-enable
Uninstall the driver, reboot, then reinstall
Update registry key to add Highfilters & LowFilters
Manually install the associated driver from HP's website
Re-installed operating system and updated all patches and drivers
Went through all previous steps again with no avail (reboots were performed between iterations when necessary. It appears there are many folks plagues with this same issue per Reddit. Please help

I forgot to add I also tried many of these steps on windows 10 with the same outcome. Oh yeah one other thing I would like to add, when I open device manager and watch the Intel Wi-fi 6ax 201 160mhz adapter while performing this, it will flash and the yellow triangle disappears. Then it will flash again and re-appear. Same thing with airplane mode, at one point I was able to turn it off then it went back to the same state after about a minute.

It might help to indicate from where things don’t work as you expect. Can you open the cast window, using ‘start’ + k? Can you see your wireless adapter in the list? Can you operate the button to connect?
‘Wireless’ could also refer to your wifi connection.
