Hello,

i have an HP ZBook Power G7 with the USB-C Dock G5. The Network is very low with only 60 to 80 Mbps. The Network drivers and firmware of the Dock are the latest one from august (already testet other ones).

The Network port shows up 1Gbit but the speed is very low.

When i connect the network cable from the Dock to my Notebook, i have full speed. Even WLAN is faster than the connection through the Dock.

I've checked an other Notebook with the Dock (HP ZBook Power G7 tool) and have the same problems. So i think theres a problem with the Dock.

What ive already done:

  1. Changed the Network cable
  2. Tested the samne cable on the RJ45-Port on the Notebook itself and got full-speed
  3. Installed Firmware 1.0.18.0 Rev A and Ethernet Driver 11.13.420.2023 Rev.A

As I said, i have full speed when the same cable goes into my RJ45 Port on the Notebook, on the dock i only have less than 100 Mbit/s. The Speed shown in Windows is 1Gbit.

What can I do to get full speed? Thanks
