Hello, I have an hp stream laptop that I purchased in June of last year. The product is a year old. The computer does not detect wifi. I was trying to delete files and moved some files to my external drive and I accidentally deleted some folders in the C drive. One Saturday I could not find any wifi networks. I called Microsoft technical support and they recommended that I reinstall windows. After reinstalling windows I still could not detect wifi.
I ran the trouble shoot app on windows and it said that my wifi and network adapters were missing. I am not able to find any network and wifi adapters for this computer. I have tried to reset the computer when I called HP support and I still am not able to detect wifi. I would like assistance with this issue. I would like to know what specific adapter and network drivers are used for this computer because when I checked they were not listed on the website?
