I haven't found anything on the internet (ableit I might not be using the right search terms, as english isnt my first language).
When I connect my Bluetooth overears to my laptop, the sound plays just fine (as with any other device I connect them too.
However, when I take the right side off my ear for a while, sound stops playing on that side, and it does not work again until I restart the laptop.(Headphones off/on or reconnection doesnt work) The sound still works fine if I change the volume on my headphones, so it's not a "sound" problem per se, and not a loose contact either.

Tried the settings, but no influence on the sound.

Does anyone know why this happens and what I can do to stop this? Thanks in advance!

@honekgo1, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Disable Auto-Pause / Wear Detection (if available)

Open your headphone's companion app (if it has one).

Look for a feature like "wear detection", "auto-pause", or "smart sensor".

Disable it and save settings.

Disable Hands-Free Telephony in Windows

Open Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers.

Right-click your Bluetooth headphones > Properties.

Go to the Services tab.

Uncheck "Handsfree Telephony".

Click OK, then disconnect and reconnect your headphones.

Restart Windows Audio Service

Press Win + R, type services.msc, press Enter.

Scroll to Windows Audio, right-click it > Restart.

Also restart Bluetooth Support Service if available.

Disable Power Saving for Bluetooth and Audio

Press Win + X > Device Manager.

Expand Bluetooth > right-click your Bluetooth adapter > Properties.

Go to Power Management tab.

Uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.

Do the same for your audio device under Sound, video and game controllers.

I hope this helps.
