hp support wifi help.PNGThis is a new laptop which I bought last month. I tried using connectify hotspot software to share my Wifi connection, but it was unable to start the hotspot.

I ran through many forums and found this cmd command: netsh wlan wlan show drivers

I ran the command and found out that the wifi adapter does not support hosted network. People also hav solved the problem by installing old version of their wifi driver. But for this laptop wifi drivers are not available in the Support section.

Someone please help me with gettinng the old driver or anything else.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @skumbhare,

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

Not all wireless cards support Network Hosting. Even installing a previous driver may not resolve the "issue" as described.

That being said, you can try the previous version of the driver from the website here - http://ow.ly/i6UY3030yzs.

Best of luck! 🙂
