I performed a system reset on my HP laptop and am currently stuck in Windows setup. The software is asking me to install a network adapter driver. I’ve tried to download the driver packages from the HP website using a different computer, but none of them are recognizable as drivers to the setup software.  I've tried the Shift+F10 trick to try to bypass it, but it doesn't work. Is there a driver package that I can download that the Windows setup software can recognize?

If you had the driver would you be able to install it by browsing to a driver folder location on a USB flash drive to install a Wi-Fi driver?

Since you didn't post any information regarding the product number or model number of your notebook, there is no way I can let you know exactly what Wi-Fi driver your notebook uses.

So, the first thing to do is to let me know the full model number or product number of your notebook.

I'm surprised that Shift + F10 method didn't work.

This link indicated the procedure worked into last month.

Once I know what Wi-Fi driver your notebook uses, you can use the free 7-zip file utility to extract the driver exe file in to a folder, copy the folder to a USB flash drive and then browse to the driver location inside the folder.
