Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I downloaded a Bluetooth driver but not sure how to get it operating. Is my laptop compatible?

It does not come with built in bluetooth networking hardware, or that feature would have been listed along with the 1x1 802.11b/g/n WLAN Wireless Connectivity specification.
