@CoachIII, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Envy!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like you're facing a frustrating experience with your HP Envy 6110e printer. Here’s how you can fix the issues:

Printing in Color Instead of Black and White

If your printer is only printing in black and white, try these steps:

Check Printer Settings:

  1. Open the document or image you want to print.
  2. Click Print (Ctrl + P) and go to Printer Properties or Preferences.
  3. Look for a Color option and make sure it is set to Color instead of Grayscale or Black & White.
  4. Click Apply and then Print.

Check Ink Levels:

  • Open the HP Smart App on your computer or phone.
  • Check the color ink levels. If the cartridge is empty or clogged, replace or clean it.

Disable “Print in Grayscale” (Windows):

  1. Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  2. Right-click on HP Envy 6110e and choose Printing Preferences.
  3. Find the Print in Grayscale option and disable it.

Printing in Landscape Mode from the Scanner

If your scanned document is printing in portrait instead of landscape, follow these steps:

Scan the Document Properly:

  • Open the HP Smart App.
  • Click Scan and preview the document.
  • Choose Landscape orientation before scanning.

Adjust Print Orientation:

  • Open the scanned document.
  • Press Ctrl + P to print.
  • Under Printer Preferences, set Orientation to Landscape.
  • Click Print.

I hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
