I am currently connected to my wifi, but I need to somehow switch it over from wireless to hardwire by using my ethernet cord. I have researched videos and instructions on how it should be done, but none of those I saw showed the same things that appear on my specific HP laptop. So, could someone please help me get it switched over for me to be able to run a PC check for a job? I already have the ethernet cord plugged in on both ends, into my router and also into my laptop using the adapter. I just can't manage to cut the wireless off and switch it over. I get into the settings and can't find exactly where or what I need to click on from there.

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that your notebook does not come with an ethernet port.
