My HP 240 G3 Notebook PC laptop with Windows 10 OS laptop (8.1 when bought) with Realtech Network adapter (Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter) has been facing constant network issues for a while and I have tried troubleshooting, reinstalling from device manager and installing the latest version of all drivers from the HP site but the connection keeps dropping several times a day and needs consant reinstalls(sometimes even manual).
I tried shutting down and pressing F2 for the UEFI Component scan for the network adapter and when I start I get an error that says: "UEFI Networking does not appear to be supported or enabled on the system. Please check the BIOS settings to make sure UEFI network option ROMs are enabled and that UEFI network boot is enabled."
I replaired my BIOS since that was one of the solutions online but nothing changed. Help me, I don't know what's wrong with the software or hardware of my Network adapter and I have no way of testing it. How do I enable this UEFI thing? How do I test what's wrong with my network adapter?
