Hi @SisterGP,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP DeskJet 4152e All-in-One Printer is showing as offline and won't connect to your Dell Inspiron 16,
here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Check Printer Status:
- Make sure the printer is turned on and there are no error messages or warning lights.
- Check the printer’s display for any alerts or messages.
Check Connections:
- If using a USB connection, ensure the cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer. Try using a different USB port or cable if available.
- If connected via Wi-Fi, ensure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
Restart Devices:
- Restart your printer, computer, and router (if applicable). Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
Set as Default Printer:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your HP DeskJet 4152e and click Manage.
- Click Set as default.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for the HP DeskJet 4152e for Windows 11.
- Install the drivers and restart your computer.
Run the Printer Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
- Select Printer and then click Run the troubleshooter. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Check Printer Settings:
- Open the Control Panel and go to Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your HP DeskJet 4152e and select See what's printing.
- Click Printer in the menu and ensure Use Printer Offline is not checked.
Reinstall the Printer:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your HP DeskJet 4152e and click Remove device.
- Re-add the printer by clicking Add a printer or scanner and follow the prompts to set it up again.
