Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Community! 🎉
I’m here to help you troubleshoot your issue and get things back on track. Just follow these steps below, and we’ll have you running smoothly in no time:
Force a Restart:
- Hold down the power button for about 15 seconds to force the laptop to shut off.
Turn Off Metered Connection:
- If it still insists on a metered connection, go to Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi → and click on your Wi-Fi network.
- If you see an option labeled "Set as metered connection," turn it off.
Reset Network Settings (if needed):
- Go to Settings → Network & Internet → Status.
- Scroll down and click Network reset. This will reset all network adapters.
Reboot the Laptop Again:
- After resetting network settings, restart the laptop again and check if you can connect properly to your Wi-Fi network.
I’m pretty confident this will do the trick! But hey, if you run into any bumps along the way or need a little extra help, just give me a shout! I’ve got your back. 💪
