@Bhoomi1, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

If you're unable to find the Wi-Fi option on your HP laptop, here are a few steps to help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check if Wi-Fi is disabled via keyboard

  • Look for a Wi-Fi key on your keyboard (often marked with a wireless icon, usually F12 or F10).
  • Press Fn + [Wi-Fi key] to toggle wireless on/off.

Ensure Wireless Adapter is enabled

  • Press Windows + R, type ncpa.cpl, and press Enter.
  • In the Network Connections window, check if Wi-Fi is listed and enabled.
    • If it's greyed out, right-click and choose Enable.

Check Device Manager for missing drivers

  • Press Windows + X → Device Manager.
  • Expand Network adapters.
    • Look for a wireless adapter (e.g., Realtek, Intel, MediaTek).
    • If missing or showing a yellow warning icon:
      • Right-click → Update driverSearch automatically.
      • Or download the latest driver from HP: Official HP® Support

Run HP Network Check

BIOS Check

  • Sometimes Wi-Fi can be disabled in BIOS.
  • Restart your laptop and press Esc or F10 to enter BIOS.
  • Look for Wireless LAN settings and ensure it's enabled.

Windows Network Troubleshooter

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
  • Click Network Troubleshooter and follow the prompts.

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
