Hello there,

I have a problem which is I can't find any bluetooth settings on mu notebook .
Is my elitebook 8470p has already a bluetooth driver or no?

Hi:

Some 8470p's came with Bluetooth and some didn't.  It was an option.

Most likely your notebook originally came with W7 and was upgraded to W10.

If that is the case usually the Bluetooth was turned off with the W7 connection manager software, which doesn't work on W10.

So here is what I recommend...

First go into the BIOS and check the devices to see that BT is present and enabled.

If it is not, then your notebook does not have the optional bluetooth module.

If it is present and enabled, then here is what you need to do to get it to work on W10 when it was turned off in W7....

Make a bootable Ubuntu installer.

Here is a tutorial on how to make the file bootable.

https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/create-a-usb-stick-on-windows#1-overview

Boot from the installer, and select the option to 'Try Ubuntu without installing.'

Turn on the BT in Ubuntu.

Shut down the PC, remove the bootable Ubuntu installer, turn the PC back on and after W10 loads the drivers, the BT should be present and working again.
