HP EliteBook Folio 9470m Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I use an HP Elitebook Folio 9470m Notebook PC. When I used windows 8.1, I could use internet using a sim card. But after I upgraded to windows 10, I can't use a sim card anymore. I tried searching for it's driver but unfortunately couldn't find it.

Note: There is a driver in for windows 8.1 in the hp drivers support page but there is't one for windows 10. I tried installing the windows 8.1 driver but the installation just vanishes halfway through.

OK. see if this works...

Download and run this W8.1 driver.

Ericsson Mobile Broadband Drivers

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp66501-67000/sp66584.exe

Then go to the device manager.

Find the WWAN device needing the driver.  It will probably have a little ! mark next to it.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the Browse my computer for drivers option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp66584

Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

Then restart the PC and see if you can connect to the internet using your SIM card again.
